Abby Bliler MS, CCC-SLP
Abby received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Penn State University and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from East Stroudsburg University.
She has worked with patients across the lifespan — from just 6 weeks old to over 100 years young — but her heart truly belongs to the birth-to-three population. Abby loves working alongside families during those early years, helping little ones build strong foundations in communication and feeding while empowering parents every step of the way. Her background includes experience in school districts, early intervention, and both inpatient and outpatient pediatric rehabilitation. This range of settings allows her to see the “big picture” and create therapy plans that are practical, functional, and tailored to each child’s daily life.
Abby has a special passion for pediatric feeding therapy. She has extensive experience supporting children with feeding disorders, breast and bottle feeding challenges, tethered oral tissues, and oral motor difficulties. She often co-treats with occupational therapy using a sensory-based, child-led approach and is certified in the Beckman Oral Motor Protocol. She believes feeding therapy should feel supportive, collaborative, and positive for the whole family.
She is also passionate about helping children recover and rebuild skills after traumatic brain injuries or concussions. With certification in Interactive Metronome, Abby incorporates evidence-based strategies to address cognitive-communication and executive functioning challenges, supporting attention, processing speed, organization, and overall brain recovery.
Above all, Abby strives to make therapy engaging, meaningful, and individualized. Her goal is for children to feel confident, capable, and celebrated — and for parents to feel informed and supported. Outside of the therapy room, Abby is a proud first-time mom to her sweet five-month-old son and a devoted cat mom. She loves spending long weekends with family in Ocean City, MD, where you’ll likely find her jet skiing, enjoying delicious ice cream, or in a highly competitive round of mini-golf with her husband!
